Pentair Intellichlor IC-20
Hello,

I just bought a new Pentair Intellichlor IC-40 to replace my IC-20. I already have the IntelliTouch load center and existing programming. Is it as easy and just plugging this new unit in and turning everything on? Will the IntelliTouch send the sanitizer output percentage to the new SWG or do I have to select it on the SWG body?

The unit was purchased from Pool Supply Unlimited, as recommended by someone here.

Thank you!

Remove power to the automation box (IntelliTouch). On the bottom left the cord to the IC40 can be unscrewed. Remove the old cell. Be easy on the unions, use a strap wrench if necessary. Remove the old cell. Lubricate the orings on the new cell with pool lube. Install the new cell. Again, be easy with the unions. Plug in the cord to the IntelliTouch box. Turn on power to the Intellitouch. Start pump. Check for leaks.

The system should recognize the new cell and everything should work as before.

Yes

The IntelliTouch will send the % output you have set to the cell.

You will need to reduce the % output that you were using for your IC20 since you got a cell with 2X the generating capacity. Set it for half what your IC20 % was.

Yes, I agree. I have to replace the LCD before I can see what is happening. A new on is on the way. I think the nodejs-poolcontroller is in the future too.

Thank you!
