That is an issue when not having an Easytouch controller for your Pentair equipment.
The simplest way is to run the pump 24/7. The next way is to install a timer for the SWCG. Then have the SWCG timer set to be on only when the pump is running.
The explosion risk is real. But up to you if you wish to risk it.

Well...dang it. I guess its accidentally a good thing I've always had it running then. -sigh- Yeah I'm good...I do not need/want explosions. Maybe when I have to replace my SWG I will then deal with getting a timer or EasyTouch thingy? I'm sure they are NOT cheap.
Would using the circuit breaker be acceptable??

Sure. But you would have to turn it on and off each day.
