I have grime and algae build up in the bottom of my Multi Cyclone 50. I have purged it and that processes cleaned about half of the gunk out, but the other stuff seems to be stuck to the bottom along with the algae. Does anyone know how to clean these?
hey! so i was wondering how you took it apart to clean it? like step by literal step? i've got no clue what im doing with our pool and i've algae all up the side to the cyclone and it's cause my husband always took care if the pools and he left us and has been completely mia for the last 5 months! i've been a stay at home mom for the last 12/15 marriage we have 2 kids and he hasn't responded be blocked me on everything so idk why i even try to keep up on the pool i gave. up and we have had little to no chlorine all summer cause i haven't been able to afford it and im still looking for work but we're in az and the kids want to swim so ive got some chlorine and trying to get it clear again... just curious how to take this apart to clean it? like did you purge it then shut off the pump then unscrew? where and how do i take it apart without breaking it ?

Sorry for all the recent troubles in your life. I'm sure dealing with a pool is the last thing to want to worry about.

The good news is that TFP preaches a method of pool care that will result in more time enjoying the pool while spending the absolute least amount of $$ possible.

But here's the hard part; you've got to commit to getting the pool cleaned up before you can start enjoying it. You're going to need to purchase a proper test kit. Test Kits Compared

A test kit is key to being able to understand what the pool chemistry is telling you. For now - you need to be adding chlorine ASAP. The longer you wait, the longer it will take to resolve algae issues and restore the pool to swimming functions.

SLAM Process is how you'll get everything cleaned up. Chlorine is the only answer.
