How much stabilizer is in chlorine pucks

Was wondering how much , or how fast pucks would increase my CYA. My reading is low(25ish) less than 30 (run mine at 40) and all the local shops are out of stabilizer and one said maybe by end of the week. My chlorine is not holding very well and want to get that right before thinking I have to do a slam. Thanks guys

I think I found my answer. 3” chlorine tablets are 50% CYA. So a 3” puck weighs 4oz and that means 2 oz of that is CYA. So I guess if you need to increase by adding a pound, you would have to use 8 pucks over a period of time

it took me awhile to find the answer.
Use 'effects of adding' in the upper left menu in poolmath.

Select trichlor and enter the amount to see the FC and CYA added.

It's a great tool for anything else you could possibly add also. Get familiar with it. :)

So a 3” puck weighs 4oz
Everything I've read says 8oz. But I've never touched one so if you're holding a bag that says 4 oz....... lol.

10 ppm FC added by trichlor raises the CYA by 6.1, lowers the pH by 0.54, raises the salt by 8.2 and lowers the TA by 7.1 ppm.

10 ppm FC from Trichlor:

Raises:
CYA by 6.1
Salt by 8.2.

Lowers:
pH by 0.54.
TA by 7.1.
