Every year at opening I drive myself crazy stopping every single minuscule drip. Only to realize that I’ve been putting up with dripping faucets in the house all winter. Who else?
I’m hopping the dripping will go away on its own. The only dripping I have is in the the union on my Hayward pump/filter kit. I put a ton of plumbers putty last year to fix it, but it is dripping again this year. My guess is losing about a quarter gal per day.
I had a drip last year at the bottom of my filter were I drain it from
I will be fixing it this year as that slow drip over the summer amounted to gallons
I have had minor drip stop them selves up with dirt I guess.
I am OCD and have to fix them now. One union had a high spot so the O Ring couldn’t seal totally. Took me 3 months of trying to find and fix it
