How many gallon jugs of liquid chlorine do you go through in a 3-4 month summer season?

Liquid Chlorine
First year using TFP and exclusively liquid chlorine.
I've got a 21' round, approx 10,500 gallons.

Wondering how much liquid chlorine to have on hand to get me through the summer. Don't want to wait until later in the season and risk it being out of stock.
I currently have 10 unopened gallons, and 1 is currently open, but mostly full. I'll likely close on or around the first week of October, so I have 3.5 months of pool season to go. I'll have at least a couple of vacation SLAMs to do, and want to have enough on hand for any other SLAMs I may need to do.

I have a LOT of shade and I keep my pool solar covered a lot, so I have less chlorine loss due to sunlight than many people usually do.

Is my 10 gallon stock good you think, or should I have another 4 jugs on hand?

Each fresh jug of 10% gets you about 9 FC. 2ppm a day average for 100 days is 22 jugs. (I average about 3 across the season with no cover and full sun) Add a few jugs for slams / parties / particularly hot and/or high UV loss weeks and you'd have leftovers if you bought 30.

It should be well stocked at Walmart and the pool stores (12.5% may be a good deal at some of them) and I wouldn't worry about supply until mid August. 10 at a time would be plenty to minimize your trips. Or 5 at a time of you already go to WM occasionally.

The Ocean State jugs are 12.5% so that helps a bit. I usually do 11oz for my 1ppm, so I'm getting about 11ppm out of a gallon, maybe a hair more. Losing 1-2ppm a day, but I haven't hit the hottest part of the summer (though this week should be a good test), and we're only starting to see some heavier swimming action. School's not out for us just yet.
As long as I haven't bought too many (which I know now I have not) then I'm good. I swing through Ocean State now and then so I'll keep on eye on their stock, and grab some more when I'm down a bit.

Replenish back to 8 (or whatevs you're comfortable with) when you're already there.

Unless yours is climate controlled, the store has AC and you'd rather have the jugs sit there for a month+ lol. If you have a basement with free space, feel free to load up.
