Yes app on phone. Lightning detector works awesome and alerts u on the phone via text or email.

I have a ambient weather station ws5000. The sensor has a long wire so I mounted it above the overflow pipe. Drilled a hole and fished it to the skimmer. Sealed the hole and all good.
