How do I remove skimmer cover?

Doing a SLAM. Found algae in skimmer. How do I remove the skimmer cover? Does it pop off? I'm afraid to break it. Thank you.

Well, tell us how it comes off??

I would assume it just snaps on or off, but that is just a guess.

Yes. My husband figured it out. It snaps off from the top and bottom outer edges, not the sides nor inner edges.

I pulled mine off last year for the first time at 9 years old. Everytime I pulled on it I felt like it was a ticking time bomb waiting to break. I know that cautious feeling. Took me about 15 minutes of getting pulling and praying. Ha.

Yes! That's how I was today! And lots of sweating, too.
