We just bought a house with a pool that was installed last summer. All of the pool equipment is Pentair so I'm assuming it's a Pentair light. I know I can control it from my EasyTouch Remote and I can change the colors. The previous owners showed us that feature and thought it was pretty cool. Me? Not so much. The Pentair website shows an IntelliBrite, MicroBrite, GloBrite, AmerLite and AmerBrite light but I'm not sure which model I have.

Is there an easy way to identify which pool light I have?

Take a picture of the light and post it.

If small, it is likely a Globrite or Microbrite.

Each model light has a distinctive size and bezel. Measure the size and compare it to what you find on the Pentair website.

Do you want have 120V to 12V transformers near your EasyTouch?

The Globrites have a history of premature failure. The other lights are typical underwater electrical devices. They will not last forever.
