This is on a customer's pool (pool is two years old). Is it easy to fill the holes in? What would happen if it were just left alone?

I would assume they will just keep getting bigger.. Even filling them with caulk would be better than leaving them open.

It might be the easiest solution Jim. I find that pools which are built the same time as the house, seem to be banged together, no proper startup or pool school. I caught this one in time. The builder's pool cleaner was dropping trichlor pucks in to the skimmer and the salt cell running on full with 2,000ppm salt!
