High salt IC40

So I added enough salt to get me to 3740. The red light is saying salt is low. Is that the normal reaction from an IC 40? The salt will go down to 3600 i a week or two but will it make chlorine during the over-salted period?

Intellichlor will generate chlorine up to ~4500 ppm salinity. It will show high salt.
