High Salinity

I would just have a 30 gallon tank that it would pump into, then I would empty it into the drain when it fills up. Seems like the only way I am going to make this happen. It should only need to regenerate maybe twice a month in the summer and much less the rest of the year, right?

Ok well I can get a 55 gallon plastic drum, the brine can go into that, then I can empty it when it gets close to full. I can evenput a float sensor on it so I know when its time to dump it down the cleanout. To bad the pool couldnt use the brine, I assume once the SWG is running, the salt levels should stay the same?

Would an RO filter work?

When I say brine, it is concentrated calcium chloride brine. So adding it to the pool defeats the purpose.

An RO filter for what?

RO to filter the pool makeup water. I guess it would be very expensive for the filter cartridges. I would just dump the brine down the cleanout.

So I am not sure of my next steps. I want to add the SWG but I assume I need to lower my salt a bit before that happens. I also assume i need to get the pool water more balanced, which I think its close. I will do another full set of tests today and see where I am at.
