High PH and Total alkalinity. New sand filter, fresh water, followed bleach, borax, baking soda, stabilizer protocol. I'm about to add more dry acid to decrease Ph based on water testing. Any other suggestions?

How are you doing your testing? Pool store or a TF-100/Taylor test kit?
I'd be using MA instead of the dry acid. If you already have the dry acid then use it up.
Can you post all the test results?
Add a signature with all you pool and equipment details. It helps.
