High Chlorine

With those numbers, the chlorine will RAPIDLY deplete with 0 CYA.......leave it alone.

If those numbers are correct, I suggest you add 40 ppm CYA immediately and allow your chlorine to deplete down to around 5 ppm or so.

Then, test your CYA and add enough to get to 50 ppm CYA and maintain your FC about 4-6 ppm.

What brand/model of SWG, and how big is your pool?

I would probably be inclined to just add some CYA to the pool. I typically try to stay between 5 and 10 with my FC, but I have a CYA of 70.

Also, a common misconception is that the salt is used up in chlorine generations, or high salt = high chlorine. The salt is not consumed and should stay fairly constant in your pool. Also your SWG has to be in a certain salt range to operate. As long as it is within that range it runs and produces chlorine.
