High Acid Demand and Recommendation to Replaster

None of these companies say an acid wash is needed before their polishing.
 
Little Update : The Plaster guy came today (the exact same guy that said that I needed a replaster). He originally recommended a replaster because he was worried the stains would still be there after a polish. But after chatting with him and he realized how muchI knew about my pool (thank you TFP) and that I am about 95% confident that the "stains" are dirt trapped in calcium....he was MORE than OK with just doing the polish (no acid wash). He was impressed with how clear my water was, how little calcium build-up I had around my waterline(which is VERY typical for this area). He also admitted that he has only been working here in the Vegas Valley for 2 years (originally came from CA) so he is still learning about pools out here.

Anyways....just wanted to thank you again everyone for all the help on this (and over the past year).....it is GREATLY appreciated.

I am glad the Plaster Guy ate some humble pie before talking to you.

Take some pics of the equipment they use for the polishing and how it comes out.
