looking here for the best ideas on how to install our new index 16x32 pool. Inground? Or above ground? Foundation? Ideas? I do know we are going to build a deck for pool

There are various threads about doing this and Google will be your friend...
The issue you have is the hole will need to be larger than the pool itself and allow for the movement of the upper structure of the pool as nothing will be able to touch the pool. Then there is the retaining walls... GL
