Hi everyone, first time poster here.
I've been working on a spa I inherited when I moved which was very, very broken. (It's a Catalina Coronado, circa 2005.) I'm getting close to functional but a problem has stumped me....
The #1 pump is now operating, but while the low speed circulation mode seems to work just fine, once I press the console button to go to high speed, I can hear the pump spinning faster but suddenly the flow through all the jets slows to a trickle.
All 4 guillotine valves are pulled out completely and *seem* to be open. I have cracked open the little screw caps to let the air out of the system on the suction side and closed them firmly. I have made sure that each of the diverter valves are fully open, and I have tried several combinations of opening and closing the air valves and jet levers.
It might also be worth noting that the jets aren't all fully working in low speed - some of the bigger ones have some air pushing through but not enough to spin them, and some of the smaller jets near the top aren't pushing out anything at all.
I'm hoping someone can help, since I've spent looooots of money on parts & technicians and I keep hitting new roadblocks.
