Hi from San Diego,

I just joined today (1/17/2024), seeking information on self-maintaining my new 50'x21' saltwater lap pool.
I'm an engineer nearing retirement age, but a first time pool owner.
Here are a few pictures of my all-new backyard before and after 11 months and $400K:

I would recommend taking pictures of your equipment area and listing what brands/models you have as best you can, there are many experts on this forum who can help guide you through whatever you may need to know.It will greatly expedite the process by posting clear pictures and if possible information labels of your pump, filter, automation box, plumbing and valves. It looks very nice congratulations on your new oasis

Thanks, I added the equipment details pictures. Between that and my signature it is fairly complete, although the builder was not good about giving me manuals and detailed parts lists.

All Pentair so that’s good, you can find all the manuals on their website any questions you may have there are many people very familiar with Pentair, and with the equipment you have. The Easytouch automation is pretty easy to navigate and your Intelliflo pump is one of,if not the best variable speed pumps out there.Pentair in my opinion is the best equipment. You have a real nice pool and like I said a lot of very knowledgeable people can help guide you through any issues or concerns you may encounter.
