Hi Everyone. I bought a home with a pool in July 2020 and am doing my best to figure it all out. The pool is a concrete pool built in 1979, but a fiberglass shell was installed over the concrete in 2016. I inherited a few issues I am trying to fix and am thankful for this forum and website. A new sand filter was just installed yesterday (Pentair Triton II TR60) paid for by my home warrantee! Soon I will be draining water because of high CYA levels (103 at a pool store). I just ordered the TF100 test kit and will have a more accurate reading once it arrives. I plan on primarily using the BBB method once the pool is refilled.
