We bought a house late last year (with a pool of course!), and I anticipate maintaining it myself. Looking forward to becoming a pro at it with the help of yall here at TFP!! The pool is very old, but still swimmable for now since the plaster is beginning to chip away at a spot that had been previously patched. We're trying to get this summer out of it, then having it completely remodeled during the fall/winter (adding a spa, and hopefully a slide as well). Happy swimming!
