I'm helping my neighbor install his 20 X 44 in ground pool. We got it running over the weekend but his multiport/valve is leaking a small amount where it connects to the filter from one connection. He has the TR-100 side mount filter. The O rings look fine. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what we should check or do? Thank you for the help.

I suppose it's possible the threads on teh bulkhead fittings are letting some water past. Maybe try some Teflon tape on those threads and re-tighten?
Is it leaking right against the tank or from the hand nut that tightens to the bulkhead (the part that's half inside, half outside the tank).
All the fittings there are sealed with O-rings, the hand nuts just keep the pipes from pushing out of the filter, the threads don't
seal anything.
It's one of the down sides of sand filters, you have to empty the sand to access the bulkheads.

The leak is from the hand nut. However, it has slowed to one drip every two or three hours. We're just going to see what happens.
