Help with Pebble Sheen Finish

We were going to install Blue Surf Pebble Sheen, but made a last minute change to Prism Blue. We didn't have to pay extra for the swap. But we did pay extra for the Luminous blue glass we added on. So we're looking forward to see what it looks like. We just had the pool plastered today. Tomorrow we acid wash, then begin filling our pool. I guess we'll begin to see tomorrow!
I know every PB is different (and amount needed for pool), but do you remember roughly how much the luminous blue glass cost?

Our neighbor used a pebble sheen finish without shimmering sea. We just completed our build with Ocean Blue including shimmering sea. When the sun hits it, it’s really amazing. Our neighbors told us they are jealous of the “vibrant sparkle.”
Hello! I am planning on using Ocean Blue pebblesheen and LOVE the color of yours! Just to make sure I understand what you have - you just did the pebblesheen ocean blue with the shimmering sea that comes with it, right? You didn't add any other "enhancements" like luminous? I am hoping that ours will look like your water and we are planning (so far) on using ocean blue as it comes...

Hi! Prism Blue is my first choice also, wife is liking French Grey but it’s too flat for my tastes. Are you able to post a photo or two of your pool? Would love to see it in full sun as well as overcast if you have a photo. Thank you!!

We just had prism blue installed 10 days ago.
Photos really dont do it justice. We are very happy
Its medium in intensity but darker than most of their colors.

Here is a great link to show off different plaster colors. I also shows how the light and depth of the pool impacts the colors of the plaster:

Thanks for posting! I’m looking at the swatch for Pebblesheen Prism Blue, I don’t see any of the bright blue specks in your finish, was that an upgrade?

We also just had our Prism Blue done 2 weeks ago. For us, our builder just has the same price for any Pebblesheen so the price didn’t factor in to our decision. However, Prism Blue was his recommendation as well as when the Pebblesheen installers were here, Prism Blue was one of their favorites. I think it is a good option if you want a little deeper blue but not too dark. The blue specs are part of the finish, no upgrade, as well as shimmering sea.

sydner23 beautiful! Did you add any luminous beads or is that just regular Prism Blue? I'm so torn between Prism Blue and Blue Granite! Also - is the slide permanent or one of those ones you can put in temporarily?

Here’s a few I took this morning 8:45 am on an overcast, SoCal June Gloom morning, the others are taken without cloud cover.

We did not add any beads, just regular which already includes the shimmering sea. The slide is bolted into concrete so I guess it could be removed at some point if we wanted but our kids are 8 & 6 so probably won’t be for awhile, if ever. Still waiting on the rest of our hardscape/landscape to be completed in the next few weeks.

As others said, it comes with blue specks and abalone standard.
We did have to pay an extra $1800 for it, maybe because ours was only a remodel?

The blue specks were not in our sample either. They are only noticeable in our pool in the shallow areas. The abalone shells are really pretty and very noticeable throughout.
You could also pay extra for a few bags to be put in blue granite
I think blue granite is more earth toned colors
Prism has a hint of aqua.

May I ask what brand slide you got? I have 11, 9, and 7 and they'd love a slide.

How do you like your Bask Costarondack chairs? They look really nice. Are they comfortable? My wife and are looking at purchasing two of them for our sun shelf.

Thanks! We really, really like them! You're the first person to recognize them!

We first thought about getting some Ledge Lounger chairs. So we went to a retailer to try them out. Turns out they were not the most graceful chairs to get in and out of. And the armless shape made them not as practical or comfortable for anything other than laying down. These Bask chairs are much more practical and useful for us. We're using them on a daily basis. Indeed, I've been working from home since COVID started. So, I basically go outside in the morning and get my feet wet while doing work on my phone or laptop while sipping my morning coffee. They're surprisingly comfortable to sit in.
