HELP! This is the current state of my almost completed 1300 square-foot marble paver deck. As you can see some of the pavers on the edge have been cut away. And the edge is not even or straight, looks like a thin long slice of pie. The other picture is what it looked like yesterday with uneven pieces of paver trying to make an even edge. Paver contractor said this morning that the pool company screwed up on the sub deck and in one spot it was wider in some parts so they want to chip away at my sub deck to make it even. That’s a no go for me. It appears to me that the paver installation was not sized correctly and there is a problem with the installation not the sub deck. Curious to know what you guys might think ? I do plan to call the pool company first thing in the morning does this appear to be a paver installation problem to you? Thoughts on the fix ?

If the other side is full sized and square then it is the "pad" they are setting on that is off. I bet someone did not square it up when the laid out the forms. I say leave the top pieces how they are. Trust me no one will notice and if they do just show them how the gate works on their way out LOL

+1. On the backside is where you want that problem. A couple of well placed planters or bushes/greenery in the free space and you will be the only one to ever know.

Im kinda surprised they didn't add/subtract some pad to square it up.

Get a tape measure and check for square.
Measure from corner of the pool to corner of the deck on each side.
Also do a X measure from corner to corner.
If it is not square someone screwed up.
If its the concrete pad I would just have the paver company cut the edge straight with a concrete saw.
It would take about 20 minutes.
Your pavers look square or evenly sized so I expect the pad is off.
