Help!!! Neighbors loud Pentair IntelliFlo i2 Variable Speed Pool Pump

Hi my neighbor installed a pool in November 2020 and we are hearing loud humming noise coming from one of his 2 each Pentair i2 variable speed pumps. Currently his scuppers and bubbler is not on but they have solar water heater. Only one pump running right noise and very noisy. Our houses are around 15 feet apart cinder block walls with stucco cement. We hear loud humming noise in rooms that have outside wall near pump.
Any suggestions please?

Yes, Go talk with your neighbor and ask him to take care of it..

No magic is going to fix the pump.. It needs new bearings or to be replaced.

One reason that the i2 is a bad choice is that it has to run significantly faster than a regular Intelliflo to achieve the same flow rate.

Maybe a seal leak has ruined the bearings.

Is the pump under warranty?
