Ok bleach is in.

CYA is in a pair of my good trouser socks, but it was the only one long enough. Nothing to tie it to, so i set a bottle of bleach on it.

Geeze Louise. I think we can call it a day!!!!

Work tomorrow for me and for the next three days. I suppose ya'll can take a break huh. A WELL needed one!!!

Just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't fall in. I'd guess it's fine...but just in case.

Test once again before bed, and again in the morning whenever you wake up. As you've gotta work this weekend don't bother waking up early...just before work. Add chlorine before work, and then again when you get home. Keep it at 15FC.

As some good news......I'm guessing you'll be swimming very soon. ;D

I tied the sock in a knot. So if it falls in it shouldn't all spill out. Ok i'll test around 10 and when i get up and then add.

How about best news of all. You should be adding bleach by the cups rather than by the gallons.

Has the water color changed at all??

I don't think so, but the pump hasn't been going for the biggest part of the day because of the sand changing.

Cups vs. Gallons? Yeah, i'll definitely take door number 1!!!!

I just turned out all of the lights. It's pumping as it should i think. My little black trouser sock is hanging on the side with bleach sitting on it.

All is well at the moment. I'll see what happens in the AM. If there is a big change, i'll come post prior to going to work.

If not, i'll check in tomorrow evening.

Man if ther is one lesson to learn from this thread it is to evaluate the cost of water vs bleach plus time and effort.... I think I'd still drain that sucker now and swim tomorrow....
