Hello from St Pete Beach - looking for some guidance and opinions on Stonescape mini pebble finish

We're just getting started on a pool within a pool remodel. I’m looking for some guidance and opinions on Stonescape mini pebble finish.

Why does the aqua cool look different than the other mini pebble samples? It looks sanded down, and doesn't have the same dimensional look as the other mini pebbles.

My family wants the lighter look but I’m afraid it will look like a plaster finish with specks of colors in it, and it might show dirt. (we will have a sun shelf and spa)

I have not found a sample of Puerta Rico blend aqua cool. I was wondering if this has a dimensional look and how much higher the cost is?
Appreciate any insights!
