Hello all. Bought this house about two years ago. Lived in different parts of Florida since 1986. This is our first pool. We have been having someone take care of it, but the time has come to begin weaning them off. ~14,000 gallon IG pool, containing spa, floor pop-ups, heat pump, Hayward Superpump II 2 HP, chlorinated by tabs in a floater. The pools surface had been painted at some point by the previous owner. It is beginning to leach off fairly well. We will probably have the plaster man come in in the fall. Since we bought the house we had a leak in one of the jets to the spa. Rather than chipping it out and replacing it now, I cut the line to it, and capped it in the pool side, and the supply side. The other jets function properly.
