Hello all!

First thing you should do it buy either a Taylor 2006C test kit or a TF-PRO test kit TF-Pro with SmartStir so you can accurately measure levels of FC, pH, TA, CH, and CYA. Here at TFP we do NOT rely on or trust the results from the pool stores or from test strips. Reagent tests are WAY more accurate.

Fill out your signature with your pool specs, equipment, etc. as best you can.

Your SWG would convert the salt in your pool to Free Chlorine (FC) but how much, depends on your Salt Water Generator's settings (SWG). Use this chart to figure out what FC to be at based on your CYA: Chlorine / CYA Chart (make sure to select the middle "Salt Water Generator" option, not Liquid Chlorine or SLAM

ASK QUESTIONS and don't feel bad doing it. It's the best way to learn around here.
