Hello community. I live on Longboat Key in Florida. We were devastated by both Helene and Milton. We had an eight foot surge with Helene and six with Milton. Our pool is 30X70 and is now half full of sand. Has anyone ever used an industrial vacuum truck to remove tons of sand? We had a crew from the disaster relief company using temp labor but became concerned at the pace of work and possibly popping the pool if they continued removing all the sand. Any and all advice is much appreciated.

I would vacuum sand off the bottom from one end while filling the pool from another. How much sand is left? Pics?
