I have a dual system, which means the spa has its own cleaning schedule throughout the day. I have installed the new Pentair intellicenter which I am very comfortable with but I am having a hard time finding a way to place a egg timer on the gas heater connected to the spa. Guests very often forget and leave the heater enabled and without an egg timer it continues to maintain 104 until it is disabled. I am aware there are egg timers on the spa, pool, and all auxs but I am curious if anyone has found a way to add a egg timer to a heater for a dual body system for intellicenter.

In a schedule you can specify the Heat Source or put it to OFF.

While you cannot have an egg timer on the heater, you can pick a time, like 1AM to schedule the Heater to OFF.

I have not used it this way but that is what I would play with and see how it works.

Senile,

Seems to me that you could just put an egg timer on the Spa circuit..??

Yes, if you used the spa a lot, you'd have to keep turning it back on, but so what, they are just guests...

The idea being that the Spa would only be turned on manually, when the guest pushed the Spa Icon. It would then turn off in x amount of time, based on the egg timer.

You see this a lot with manual timers at hotel spas.

Thanks,
