Haywood pool heater H series

i am trying to manually ignite our indoor pool heater, i'd appreciate ideas on how to do this so we can use the pool this weekend.

we had a power outage yesterday where the power went on and off multiple times, up until that it was working fine. the ignitor is not working.

i remember another pool guy took something off the front and used a long lighter? attached is a picture

Put gas valve in "pilot" position and hold down. Push red button until pilot lights. Keep valve depressed for about a minute, release, place valve in "on" position. The valve should be labeled.
If you follow the small aluminum tube it ends in at the pilot. Do the above but use a long match at the pilot if the igniter won't light the pilot.
