Hayward with automation VS pump alternatives

I've searched around and couldn't find good info on this. Are there other manufacturers pumps that work good with Hayward omnipl automation (direct replacement) or are Hayward pumps the only option?

Firmware Revision 3.2 and the Pump Converter accessory board (HLPMPCONV) gives the ability to control Pentair Intelliflo VS pumps. The HLPMPCONV board connects to the Omni RS-485 bus with 4 wires and the IntelliFlo RS-485 data port with 2 yellow/green wires.

Hayward pumps aren't the only option, but are the easiest to integrate with an Omni if that is what you have.

Jacuzzi pumps are hayward pumps in a different color.

Newer ones yes. Some Leslie's still sell left-over, old-stock, Jacuzzi J-VSP150 and J-VSP250 pumps that have been discontinued and so have most parts. You don't want those.

Ok it sounds like it's not worth exploring other pumps and just stick with Hayward.
