Hi all!
I'm hoping someone can recommend to me a nice replacement pump for my pool. My pool is a ~75000 litre vinyl pool. I have 3 return jets (1 in the deep in, 1 in the shallow end, and 1 at the stairs), 1 "Main Drain" in the deep end that acts as a return jet, and 1 skimmer. I also have 1 "Auto Cleaner" line, but that is not used. I do not have any water features.
I currently have a "US Motors" EUST1102, Model Number C55CXKMB-5012 1 HP, 3450 RPM 230 Volt pump that I want to replace with a Hayward variable speed pump. I'm sticking with Hayward, as I have a Hayward T-CELL-15 that I just replaced this year, and I figure at some point in time in the future I will go with hayward automation, so it makes sense to go with a Hayward VS pump.
I would love a quiet operational pump, even at full RPM, as right now the pump I have is loud at full! If that means over-investing in a pump, to run at a lower RPM that would be quieter, I am ok with that investment. I also don't mind investing a bit more, if the energy efficiency makes sense. The pool stores initial recommendation is the Hayward MaxFlo, but I'm wondering if there would be a better option out there?
