Hello,

I have a Hayward TigerShark robot that I've been using for several years.

Over the past few days, it has stopped working properly.
To identify the cause of the issue, I tested it out of the water and observed the following sequence:

  • The drive belt and rollers rotate
  • The top propeller starts to press the robot to the ground
  • The drive belt and rollers rotate again
  • Then nothing happens...
Do you have any idea what might be causing the problem?

Thank you.

Have you checked the impeller to make sure it's not bound by palm stringy filiaments? My nbors palm trees are always dropping xxxx into my pool. It gets sucked in and wraps around the bottom of the impeller shaft. It can stop it from running.

Also, i never ran my robots out of the water, even for a short period of time.

Good luck
