Hayward system, but ... are all 10 ohm thermistors created equal?

Hi All,

So, wiring has been weed-whacked and dog gnawed from previous owner ... easier to replace than troubleshooting.

My system is Hayward - will most 10 Ω sensors work OK? Lots of options online. Hole size is the same, and length of wire is same.

Temperature sensors for Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, and other pool automation systems are usually standard 10K ohm NTC thermistor sensors. They are used for air, water, and solar temperatures.

Temperature probe? If so, yes. They are all the same

Note that it is 10,000 ohms and not 10 ohms.
