I just built a brand new in ground pool for the family. Finally filled it with water today and I can't get the pump to turn on. Nothing happens. I have it setup to a hayward aquaplus, using a 240v siemens qt 15amp breaker. I have even tried just connecting it directly to the breaker instead of relaying it to the aquaplus relay. Power is getting there to the pump connection, but it doesn't turn on. Any suggestions on what to do?

Thanks!

Xio, welcome as Allen has stated.

Most pumps are on a DP 20amp GFCI Circuit Breaker, not 15amp. Are there any error readings or anything else on your pump's LED display? What is it saying when you try to turn on the pump? Is this a brand new pump? The TrisStar 1.85HP is one of Haywards more reliable VSP's at this time.

Did you buy and install the pump yourself?

Good luck and keep us posted, tstex
