Hi Great forum and info! My pool pump was making a grinding/clanking noise. After many videos on other motors suggesting it was a clogged impeller, it just didn't fit so decided to take the filter pump apart and see. There was not really any good videos I could find on how to do this so I took pictures and made a video as I went along. I did order the internal parts before hand so was not with out the filter pump for to long in the texas heat.

Nice video. Sorry, but the last picture shows the impeller ring on backwards. If it was assembled that way the performance of the pump is affected.
