Hayward Salt Chlorinator has to be reset every day.!?!?

The last 3 weeks I've had to recalibrate my control panel (3 years old) every morning. It reads the salt level between 400 to 2100 once the pump is turned on. Once I recalibrate it, it reads 3200 the rest of the day. I changed out the flow switch and had the cell tested which came back as good. What else can I do?

I believe the power light stays lit when pump is off.

Then your Aquarite is not properly wired and it is on when your pump is off which is letting it get incorrect salt readings during the pump off time.

Your Aquarite should be wired to power off when the pump is off.

How is your pump controlled?

I have a Pentair Inteliflo variable speed pump and have it on a timer. Its been hooked up for 2 years, what would change?

And where is your Aquarite powered from?

Thanks, I think I got it figured out............. my new pump (2 years old) has a built in timer which I thought the chlorinator was hooked up to but it's still hooked up to the old timer which the off tab fell off a month ago and I didn't think it mattered any more. I put the tab back on and the chlorinator powered off at the correct time. I'll check in the morning and see if it gives me the right salt reading. thanks again
