Hayward pool heater thermostat holder leaking

The attached manual is fairly sparse with details and does not show any temperature sensor in a pipe.

Is that inside the heater?

Step back and show wider pictures of where that is.

Let's see if @swamprat69 has ideas.

The temperature sensor goes into that hole. Where the water is coming out.. it was always a snug fit and I’m surprised it actually lasted this long with that pressure in there like that..

I’m gonna try and seal it with a bead of sauder to see if that holds…. I’ll get a better picture in a little bit

Where is the water on the copper manifold coming from? What exactly are are you trying to seal with solder? If the well itself is leaking from the outsidof the well (from the manifold) to the inside and has been breached, you would need to drain the water from the maifold and if you got excess solder in the manifold in the process of trying to seal it the bulb may no longer fit in the well. Even I might be pulling out my hair trying to repair this if that is the case.

solder didn't work for me.. couldnt' stick and I'm not using a torch on it..

the water is coming from in between the hole and the sensor.. the sensor just pushes right in. always a snug fit until recently.
