So I have lived at my house since 2017. It was built in 2015 along with the pool. This will be the fourth tcell9 on the pool. The estimate size is 10k gallons. My question is these cells are costly for me, and this current one is 7 months out of date. Do I need to buy a Hayward brand tcell9 every time? Usually I prefer to stick to the brand names, but they're barely making it past their warranty. Would I be ok with a generic cell. Where is the best place to buy one either way? I have a hayward omnilogic pool if that helps. TIA

What % do you typically run your T-9 cell?

What is the serial number of your cell?

Fill out your signature so we all know what your pool size is and what equipment you have. The salt cell should be double the size of your pool. You probably need to move up to a T-15 cell which can easily handle 20-25000 gallons but on a smaller pool will work even less and last longer. In addition we need to see your water test results with one of the recommended test kits Test Kits Compared, if you don't have one yet. It's important to have your CSI correctly in the range of -.3 to 0 so testing is required.
