Hey I have a Hayward sand filter that let green by on vacuum so we ordered a new valve head from Amazon because I couldn’t get the old spider out. The new spring bonnet and handle assy came with a little baggy with two orings and a Teflon washer with a split in it, anyone know what these are for? Not letting dirt by through the jets but pool won’t clear up! Gonna change sand and order a TF test kit asap. Thanks

It sounds like you have a chemistry problem and has nothing to do with the MPV or sand. So post your water results as soon as you can so we can help. In the meantime, add about 5 ppm of liquid chlorine to your water each day.
