My Hayward T-Cell-15 just went out after 10 years. I'm looking online for a replacement but it is confusing because I see such a huge range in prices. Obviously, I don't want to spend any more $$ than I have to but I do want a reliable replacement. Are the Hayward-compatible knock-offs any good? My system is Aqua Plus (the manual says for model AQL-PLUS and AQL-PLUS-20). Any suggestions or advice?

Blue Works SWG vs. Hayward?
Have had 2 Hayward T-15s on a 7 year-old Hayward system but am considering replacing with a Blue Works BLT-15. Any experience with them? Pros and Cons? TIA.

Wow, 10 years. Can't beat that with a stick! A lot of folks recommended Circupool. I installed mine last Feb and am very happy with it. If you're going to try something other than Hayward I'd give Circupool a look.

Check out Salt Solutions (Salt Solutions Inc. – Salt Solutions provides a proven repair option for customers with broken salt chlorinator equipment.). They offer repairs and rebuilds for both main boards as well as salt cells. I have used them in the past - their rebuilt salt cells are like new. My last one in GA was still running strong after 6 years (when I moved to Florida).
I concur as I've used a few from them with great results. They know their game as the tech told me on the phone "this is what we've been doing the last 12 years".

For replacements, they will ship out the product first, allow you to switch it out, then send back the old one. That is their "core charge". They then rebuild the old one you sent back for the next customer.
