Hayward Knock Off Replacement Pumps

I just noticed from another thread that the Hayward pumps are assembled in China, with that in mind, has anyone had luck with the cheaper Hayward knock-off pumps listed as several different brands?​

Nearly all pumps are made in China or Mexico even the ones from big manufactures. But I think there are several members who have gone with the Inyo pumps that look like the Hayward pumps and I have not read any complaints.

Thanks for the reply mas985, I found a Pentair 2 speed on Amazon for $275 that was new from Amazon but said it had a cosmetic defect. Crossed my fingers and bought it with an extended warranty, it came with the blank plate which was where the defect was, and the plate with the switch which was what I was planning on using anyway.
