Our Hayward propane heater is not staying on. It is an old one, at least 10 years. I recently replaced the blower motor as the fan cage completely rusted away. It was running for a time, got the pool heated up to temperature. But now when it turns on, the propane ignites and it flames for a few seconds before the flame goes out. Blower keeps spinning, and it will try again but won't say lit. I figure it's not a thermostat or flow, as it would not try to light. I did clean the filter. I was thinking gas flow, but not sure how to check. Any ideas on what to try? Thanks!
