...while in it?

I was on brush duty last week when the water tempted me too much. I dropped the pole, grabbed my suit and finished the job while swimming. I might make a habit of it!

It was considerably easier to brush the floor from within the pool. The pole reaches from the edge of the shallow end to the far corners of the deep end. The sides were a different story though. It was annoying to get sides in the shallow end, and all but impossible to get the sides in the deep end.

I could see how the sides of an AGP could be done in the water, and how the deep end of a large pool would pose a significant challenge...

I have a scrubby mitt that I use to scrub the waterline, and the easiest way to use it is while in the pool. I won't be jumping in for a few more months, though.

Yep - I'm on the Aussie swim calendar. When everyone else in the U.S. is filling and clearing their pools for summer swimming, I'm closing mine.

Or you could just do like us in S Florida. Never close. This time of year the solar heat doesn't keep up so I hit it with a couple hours of gas heat once or twice per week. 88 is our minimum also... wife prefers 90. Rest of the week we just use the spa.

We love our tfp pool!

Brushing the pool is my husbands only pool job and he only does it from inside the pool. He does it about twice a week starting in the spring through early winter. No need during the burrr times even though his  self does get in the pool when it is burrrr!
