Hard to remove lid on pre filter and salt cell??

Anyone got any tricks to remove the lid on the prefilter or removal of a salt cell. Went to clean thing out this weekend and it was hard to remove and I have big hands! I feel like grippy gloves or something might help?

anyone have a tool or grippy device for the hard to get off lid type things?

Not sure what a prefilter is.

The salt cell should only be put on hand tight. You can get a strap wrench if necessary but do not over tighten as you can crack the unions.

Strap wrench for the salt cell.

Rubber mallet to open the cover on the pump to get into the basket.
