So how many leave theirs?? Or rather is it on the surface, or have your buried it?? How do you drain it??

I took mine apart and have it here and there around the yard hahahaha

Trying to decide if i should reconfigure and put some drains inline so i can just leave it, and only take out the pump and filter to put in the shed??

From what i have seen most folks kinda do both. Disassemble some where they have unions etc & just drain other peices. When i had an intex & pvc for my fountain & such i just removed it all & put it in the shed. Now that i have a 250# sand filter i just drain it & the pump & cover it with a tarp. Haven’t figured out the pvc plans yet so my swgs & hoses go in the shed.

How you handle really depends on your climate. For those who see regular freezing over the winter, it is best to drain the pipes and blow them out. You can use a shopvac or air compressor to get the majority of the water out. It doesn't need to be bone dry, but you don't want a lot of standing water either.
Using unions at the equipment and where it attaches to the pool will help you open the connections and blow out the water. Putting the pump & filter in the shed never hurts. It keeps it out of the elements. Drain the equipment either way.
