Grout over Grout different Color

Hi TFP Family-

My builder came out yesterday to fix a repair in my SPA and they fixed some tiles, they regrouted the spa. I didnt know they were doing this. My spa was grouted black originally (midnight black) but they put silver ontop of that and raised it flush with the tile. Im concerned that this will cause issues down the line when the silver wears down, but at that time I should regrout anyhow. Let me know your thoughts.

Not sure why they would regrout a different color other than being in too big a hurry so did not go get the correct color. Here is hoping the gray looks good. I would not use a wire brush or such to scrub your grout to help keep it intact over time. I think you are fine with it like it is IF you like the color.

Yeah it looks way better! My father does tile installation 72 years old, I asked him he said make sure you seal and your good!
