I’m brand new to the spool game, so I don’t know whether I should be concerned or need to take any action.
My pool contractor had to remove and turn over a 1’x4’ piece of bluestone coping because they chipped it during installation. In doing so, they had to grind out the grout and make some other messes which of course went into the spool, which is full. Visually you could see the layer of grout residue on the benches and spool floor. I brushed down interior towards the floor drain, but I’ll probably need to do it at least once and maybe twice more to get rid of it.
My question is, should I do anything to remove this residue from the system such as clean my filters? Thank you.
