Please can you guys share one more time your pictures of your vinyl color:

- REEF;

- Sandstone;

- Gold Pebble; and

- Grey Mosaic?

We are digging in 2 weeks (10/24/19) and still struggling with the color choice.

20 x 40

Oasis shape

Tanning ledge

Bench ( vinyl)

Stairs ( vinyl)

Latham liner

Atlanta - GA

We will have full sun all day.

No shades.

Back yard (1.6 acres) faces a dairy farm.

We would love to try to bring some beach vibe ( will add palm trees eventually) but don’t want to have a blue pool. We would like something between grey and tan ( light/medium).

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I was allllll ready to say grey until I read your beach comment. If beachy is what you're going for, go for tan. ? I love our grey liner, but it is not beachy.

I agree with l1ltaral1l. We couldn't be happier with our grey mosaic liner choice. But it isn't going to have that white sand beach look. However, our yard gets full sun almost all day as well. On sunny days it does have that turquoise caribbean look. But on overcast days and in the evening it will be darker.

Great question and same one we are dealing with. After looking at countless photos here and elsewhere, I like the Gold Pebble the best if going for that beach look. That would probably be our choice but we are going with gray steps and want a liner that goes with that better, so we are down to Natural Gray and Gray Mosaic.
The liner thread is awesome and a great start if haven't been there. Liner Thread

Well, I like the green look or turquoise look that both tan and grey lines give.
I dislike the idea of getting dark ( grey) when cloudy and the crazy brownish (tan color ) in the tanning ledge. The tanning ledge will be located in the middle of the pool so close between the deep area ( darker green/turquoise) and shallow area.

I would disagree that grey liners (or grey plaster) gives a water color with a greenish cast. Grey surface pools are often described as having steel blue water color. See below for my thoughts in a graphic...

Agree with that. I feel like our grey liner is bright deep blue in sun and just deep blue during overcast times. I don't get green at all from ours. I really wanted Onyx - that's when I'd classify the water as dark...almost the bottomless lake look.

Clear as mud, right? :ROFLMAO:

Please tell me again what grey is yours? Mosaic? Natural? Or something else?

We just put in a pool this summer & I OBSESSED over choosing my liner, so I know how you feel, it's so hard!
I wanted something different than the typical pool blue, so I was stuck between tan & grey too.
In the end we went with the Dark Grey Mosaic full floor (no border). I could not be happier with it! Definitely not too dark, we are actually doing our fence in faux gender panels so it will reflect & make it look darker. We have full sun most of the day, partial shade in the afternoons. It changes colors depending on time of day & cloud cover but it always looks gorgeous ?

This was a long while ago but I thought I'd give it a go! We have to replace our liner shortly and love the warm look of this tan liner. Is this Sandstone by Latham or another company?
Thank you!
Holly from Canada.

Sandstone (can't remember if Latham). Pretty sure it was Canadian manufactured? Latham has some nice looking new ones too. Seastone and Gold Pebble from Latham would look very nice.

Debbie from Canada:)

Thank you Debbie! We are looking at Gold Pebble by Latham. We currently have REEF but have to replace due to a default with our pool. Now REEF is out of stock. I also like the look of their new Cobalt Lake/Grey Mosiac liner. Picking the liner was the worst part! I agonized about it the first time lol.

Thanks again. ??

Good luck! By the way, I did look, and our liner was Sandstone by Poolwerx. Reef looks awesome (sorry you have to get rid of it). I do think that Gold Pebble will look great.

I love our grey mosaic, but if you’re going for more of a Caribbean/tropical beach color then it’s probably not for you.

lots of pictures in my build thread and Dropbox (see signature) if you want to see the colors.
